Measured 2026-09-23: for Solana USDC to Base USDC at $250, the AssetFare quote showed a token-path cost of 0.042% and the LI.FI default route (tool “eco”) 0.25%. Both figures exclude source-chain gas. One route, one amount, one moment — request fresh quotes.

At $250, AssetFare's conservative minimum receive was 249.895290 USDC. The LI.FI eco result exposed no separate minimum-receive buffer (toAmountMin == toAmount). A CCTP-constrained LI.FI alternative using mayanMCTP measured 0.653%; it was not selected as LI.FI's default route.
This is not an identical-protocol comparison. LI.FI's forced cctp query returned no Solana lane during this window: its ten catalogued CCTP lanes used source chain ID 1201081091099710, while LI.FI's Solana chain entry used 1151111081099710. This is a dated catalog observation that may change. The paths also use different counterparties: AssetFare composes Circle CCTP plus its destination contract, while LI.FI's default uses the eco solver.
AssetFare is non-atomic and quoted an 8–20 second ETA with a 60-second TTL; LI.FI's default route reported 7 seconds. Provider routes, fees, liquidity and availability can change. Request fresh quotes immediately before selection.
